17th May 2018Posted by Admin

With trends changing, the demand for different software application is increasing. While not every application is able to make space into user’s gadgets, some are making significant change even in the life of the users.

The world of mobile application changes very fast. What’s new yesterday is passé tomorrow. To get hold of the best and sustaining traits of this field, a good UX design is the key. Here are top 6 UX trends that will make huge difference in 2018.

Linear interaction:

We use application with a specific goal. The less effort we give, the better the experience is.  A linear design comes with specific start, middle and end point that guide users at each step to get to their purpose. It’s a good feature that helps users to assess the time needed for the particular task.

Gradual disclosure:

It’s an interesting UX feature that reveals information about the interface when needed. Designer uses techniques called progressive disclosure that is designed after user focused activities. This technology reduces clutter and cognitive workload and shows information when users want it.

Gesture based design:

Designers are into a new challenge zone after the release of iPhone X. There’s no home button in the device as the gesture is the key to the basic access.  So the deal is that even the basic of the phone function requires gesture. This means now designers need to emphasize more on the gesture based design.

Content focused design:

Well-organized content is what makes all the difference in a mobile application. Content is at the middle of other important UX features. Designers need to get their hands carefully on the content curation to improve visual content relevance by removing irrelevant information. It’s also necessary to focus on the UI elements to create proper visual hierarchy.

Full-screen HD Image quality:

The more feature enriched mobile is releasing in the market, the higher the demand of superior quality image. Bigger screen and smooth edge demand for full screen image resolution. Designer needs to ensure that the images are not pixilated and of high quality.

Emotional expressions:

Emotional experiences will be the next big thing in 2018. Presently, we’re living in the era where we express our emotions more though emojis than texts. So, this is a great opportunity to explore more on expression based designs that will update the traditional emojis such as Animoji which simulates your own facial expression.

Latest technologies are changing our web experiences in every now and then. UX design is a crucial part which needs to simulate latest innovations.
